Overview
For Erie Gives 2025, I led the multi-channel marketing campaign for Erie’s Black Wall Street (EBWS)—a nonprofit dedicated to building wealth, ownership, and opportunity in Erie’s Black community. The challenge was to capture attention during a crowded 24-hour donation window while showcasing EBWS as a trusted, transformative force in the city. Strategy.
I developed a timed, multi-touch campaign that combined storytelling with urgency:
-
Email Drip Sequence (4-part) → Highlighted community impact, donor transparency, and milestones.
-
SMS Campaign (4-touch) → Sent at key times (morning, midday, evening, late-night) to prompt action.
-
Social Media Assets & Reels → Featured business-owner testimonials, community wins, and countdown reminders.
Results.
The strategy resulted in $23,395 raised in 24 hours, surpassing historical benchmarks and solidifying EBWS as one of Erie’s standout nonprofits on Erie Gives Day.
Impact.
Beyond fundraising, the campaign reinforced EBWS’s role as a cornerstone of long-term community investment, directly supporting programs like Pathway to Homeownership, Black Women L.E.A.D., and New Wall Street Ventures.
